1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Frosting:
1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. milk
1 pd. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Bring margaine, cocoa, oil and water to a boil. Pour over sugar and beat well. Add flour and eggs, then buttermilk, soda and salt. Bake on a large sprayed cookie sheet for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. (You may want to put something on the next lower rack in case the cake overflows.)
For the frosting, boil margarine, cocoa and milk, mix in vanilla. Pour over powdered sugar and beat well.
